Identify the office that keeps a record before you begin a search. Call the relevant clerk first. Longview Municipal Court, the Gregg County District Clerk, and the County Clerk maintain separate records and answer questions within their own authority. City and county cases use different systems, so a result from one portal may not show another court’s file. Keep a citation or docket number nearby when contacting a clerk. Request a copy from the office that maintains the document, and ask which channel handles corrections or delivery.

What You Will Find Here

The county overview explains how to begin with the issuing court and what a result can show. Separate pages cover search routes, active and dated lists, bench warrants, arrest warrants, traffic matters, municipal courts, and the Crime Stoppers tip program.

Longview uses a municipal query interface. Kilgore publishes date-bounded PDFs. Gladewater posts a dated image, while White Oak and Lakeport direct readers to a clerk or records channel. The same method does not fit every court.

Why This Reference Exists

The courthouse at 101 E. Methvin Street in Longview is a hub, but it is not one warrant counter. The District Clerk keeps district and felony records; the County Clerk serves county-court records. Four JP precincts and six municipal courts keep their own local records. A person can search one source and still need to call another court.

The Sheriff’s Warrant Division describes arrest, extradition, and return work. It does not publish a public name-search roster. Texas also has no single public statewide warrant search. These divisions make office names, source dates, and limits important parts of a useful public reference.

Limits of This Resource

This is a privately operated information resource. It cannot run an official warrant check, confirm an individual’s status, recall a court process, accept a payment, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. Only the issuing court can explain its current process and resolution route.

  • Phone numbers, hours, fees, and vendor instructions can change.
  • A dated image or PDF may not show later court action.
  • A municipal portal covers only the records described by that city.
  • Juvenile, family, sealed, investigative, and personal information may be restricted.
  • A Texas DPS FTA/FTP notice is not a complete warrant search.

Use a public result as a pointer. Confirm case status and recall with the court or authorized agency that maintains the record.

Sponsored Search Tools

Some county content pages include search boxes operated by outside providers. Those companies handle their own search systems, pricing, and data rules. A paid result from an outside tool is not an official Gregg County warrant confirmation.

A referral fee may be earned if a visitor uses a sponsored provider and completes a paid signup. That arrangement does not change which court controls a case or the need to verify the result through an official source.
