Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a visitor enters a name or date of birth in a search box, the information is sent to the outside company operating that tool. That provider processes the query and returns its own results. Gregg County Warrant Records does not store or log the search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends a message to the operator, the message may be kept so a reply can be made. It is handled within the operator’s organization and is not shared outside it unless a legal requirement calls for disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the web server may receive technical information about that visit, including:
- The device’s IP address
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is supplied
- The time of each page request
Cookies and Analytics
Small cookie files may be stored in a visitor’s browser. Analytics services use aggregated traffic details to show which pages are used and where visits end. Browser controls can block cookies; some site features may work differently afterward.
What We Do With This Data
- Keep pages available and improve load speed
- Send a search request to the provider that operates the tool
- Understand which information is useful to visitors
- Find and repair technical problems
- Support advertising that may reflect browsing interests
No Warrant Data on File
Gregg County Warrant Records does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a warrant database or personal warrant files. The reference content points readers to the Gregg County courts, clerk offices, and Sheriff’s Office, each of which holds or serves different records. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or a record about another person.
The District Clerk and County Clerk keep distinct court files. The Sheriff’s Warrant Division describes execution work but no public roster. A private search query does not change which government office controls a case.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search widgets are run by companies outside this publication. Information entered into a widget is handled under that provider’s privacy policy, not this one. Each provider sets its own retention and sharing practices. Review its terms before submitting a search.
Links to Other Websites
Pages link to county and city offices, court portals, state resources, and outside search providers. Once a visitor opens another service, its privacy terms govern that visit. Read those terms before sharing personal information.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. Those tracking tools are operated by the partners.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal visitor data is not sold. Depending on how a page or service is used, information may be handled by:
- The search provider receiving a query
- Traffic and performance analytics services
- Advertising networks that serve page ads
- A government body or law-enforcement agency when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable standard security measures are used for information handled by the site. Internet systems cannot be guaranteed against every threat. The operator works to protect stored data but cannot promise that a security incident will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults, and the operator does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a visitor believes a minor has sent information here, they may ask the operator to remove it.
Your Data Rights
You may ask the operator for a copy of information held about you, request a correction, ask for deletion, or object to certain processing. Those requests concern the private site’s own data; they do not provide access to a Gregg County court or Sheriff record.
The Texas Public Information Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 552, governs requests for information held by government offices, subject to exceptions. Gregg County routes such requests through the County Judge’s office. See the county’s open-records instructions for the official process.
- Ask what personal information the site operator holds
- Request correction of a detail that is inaccurate
- Ask for deletion where data is held and removal is appropriate
- Use browser controls to limit cookies and analytics choices
Updates to This Policy
This privacy policy may be revised. When an update is made, the current text and a new effective date will appear here. Review it again if the way visitor information is handled matters to you.
